Another collaboration with Mozaïek is coming and it’s going to be exciting!
Merem is a brand new ensemble that met in 2021 in Rotterdam. The well-known Vanessa Kourtesi is one of them. With their origins in Greece Merem brings a southern breeze and traditional flavors on stage, mixed with jazzy sounds and improvisations. The band members are a mix of the traditional/folk and jazz scene. They play Greek traditional music arranged with elements from Jazz as well as new compositions and original music composed by them.
