Music For Moria
A Community Movement
WHERE WORDS FAIL, MUSIC SPEAKS

About us…
Music For Moria is a movement that uses music to raise awareness about the catastrophic conditions for people seeking refuge at the European borders and to provide a platform where the voices of the displaced people can be amplified. We are a group of music therapists, musicians, and other passionate individuals. Some of us have been to Moria camp in the past years and got an impression of what it means to live there. We invite citizens to get engaged through their own music. The donations collected at the events go to the NGO Connect By Music which provides music classes and music therapy sessions in the camps in Greece.

‘Making music for a live audience in these times is a rare and always cherished opportunity, but being able to use my craft to help raise awareness and inspire the audience to give for this important cause has made it that much more meaningful’

‘The worst way you can leave someone is in silence.
When I was 18/19 I left my home in silence.
Searching for a safe place.
I left my home in silence.
My home, my dream, my whole family, friends, people who were supporting me…
I might never see it all again…’
